Sales trainer and social-media entrepreneur Shelby Haas-Sapp, commonly known as Shelby Sapp, is facing an ongoing lawsuit connected to her remote-sales training business. The case was filed by former business associate Gueorgui Stoitzev and Girl Sales Boss LLC against Sapp, She Sells Academy LLC and Blake Rocha.
The lawsuit is a private business dispute. It is not a consumer class action, and no settlement claim form or compensation programme is available to Sapp’s students or followers.
When Was the Lawsuit Filed?
Stoitzev filed the original complaint in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court in September 2024. The case is titled Gueorgui Stoitzvev et al. v. Shelby Haas-Sapp et al., Case No. 2024-017537-CA-01.
Court records identify the matter as a contract and indebtedness case assigned to Judge Robert T. Watson. The docket continued to list the case as open in 2026.
What Does the Plaintiff Allege?
According to the complaint, Stoitzev and Sapp established Girl Sales Boss LLC in May 2024. The planned business was intended to train women and connect them with high-ticket remote-sales positions.
Stoitzev alleges that he helped develop the business model, training materials, customer database, software systems and workshop programme. Sapp allegedly contributed sales instruction and promoted the venture through her large social-media audience.
The complaint says their working relationship ended abruptly in August 2024. Stoitzev claims Sapp told him that she wanted to bring the operation in-house and then launched a programme known as She Sells Remote shortly afterward.
He alleges that the new programme used ideas, customer relationships and materials belonging to Girl Sales Boss. The complaint further claims that the launch generated more than $1 million in sales during a webinar. That figure is the plaintiff’s allegation and has not been confirmed through a court judgment.
What Legal Claims Were Filed?
The original complaint included claims for:
- Breach of fiduciary duty
- Misappropriation of trade secrets
- Breach of an alleged oral contract
- Unjust enrichment
- Promissory estoppel
- Defamation
An amended complaint added Girl Sales Boss as a plaintiff and Blake Rocha as a defendant. It also included a tortious-interference claim against Rocha. The plaintiffs requested financial damages, legal costs and other relief determined by the court.
Filing these claims does not establish that Sapp, She Sells Academy or Rocha committed wrongdoing.
How Has Shelby Sapp Responded?
Sapp and She Sells Academy have denied the central allegations and asked the court to dismiss the case.
Their lawyers argue that She Sells Academy was an independent business that existed before Girl Sales Boss. They maintain that Girl Sales Boss was intended mainly to help women obtain sales placements, while She Sells provided education, training and community services.
The defence also argues that She Sells did not use Girl Sales Boss’s confidential materials. Its motion describes the plaintiff’s allegations as unsupported and says the two businesses were legally and operationally separate.
These statements represent the defendants’ legal position and have not been accepted as final findings by the court.
Has a Settlement Been Reached?
No completed settlement has been publicly confirmed.
Docket summaries indicate that a formal proposal for settlement was served in March 2026 and that mediation activity followed. Under Florida procedure, a proposal for settlement is an offer intended to resolve a dispute. It does not mean that the other side accepted the offer or that the case ended.
The plaintiff reportedly dismissed one count voluntarily in May 2026, while other claims continued. Recent docket activity included discovery responses and a motion for sanctions filed in June 2026.
Can Students Submit Claims?
No. This case was not brought on behalf of people who purchased a She Sells course.

Separate customer complaints about a course would require their own legal or refund analysis and should not automatically be connected to this business-partnership lawsuit.
Current Status
As of August 7 2026, the Shelby Sapp lawsuit remains unresolved. The parties are continuing discovery and disputing whether Girl Sales Boss had protectable business materials or contractual rights that were used by She Sells Academy.
No trial judgment has found Sapp liable, and no public settlement amount has been announced. Claims that she has already been ordered to pay millions of dollars are therefore inaccurate unless supported by a future court order.
